My apologies for the slow development of this site.  Between searching for and purchasing a house and trying to make everything fit we’re been pretty busy.  This place is always in the back of my mind though, and it will be worked on in the near future.

This is Lewis VI:

Welcome!

I’m not sure as of yet what direction to take this site.  I think it best to concentrate for the moment on the United States, and then take it from there.  I am open and amiable to suggestions and look forward to working on this.

According to the 1990 Census of the United States, Bornmann is the 65,456  most common last name.

(find out how many people this actually equates to)

A search of the web shows a total of 103 people in the US with the surname Bornmann.

Locations

I’ve started a map.  You can enter your location by zip code and it will place a marker on the page: http://www.frappr.com/bornmann.  It looks like it supports entries for outside the United States as well.  Photos can be added if you like.

About me:

I’m the fifth Lewis Joseph Bornmann.  As soon as I can figure out how to post a family tree from the genealogy my father put together I will post it.  It looks like I can print a descendants list as a .pdf file and then scan it as a picture, but I haven’t been able to paste them together yet.

If you need a guestbook or message board entry deleted please leave me a note and I will take care of it.

This is obviously a work in progress and has a long way to go.  I can be contacted by email:
